podcasts
In 3 years, I led the launch of eight podcasts, published nearly 2,000 episodes, and acrued millions of downloads. My many hats include talent recruitment and developement, hosting, writing, VO, talent booking, audio editing, process management, marketing, stakeholder management and revenue strategy. Below are some of my favorite episodes. You can also find the complete MDedge Podcast catalog at mdedge.com/podcasts/ My passion projects are available at https://www.gametheorypod.com.

In my time at WebMD/Medscape, I learned the industry as well as I could. I have a full grasp on metrics, data analytics, monetization strategies, content quality, program management, marketing, talent improvement, guest booking, contetent repurposing, host platforms (Libsyn, Anchor, Megaphone, etc), industry trends & standards, industry outlook, and launch strategies - audio hardware, recording software, remote setups, travel setups, and optimization practices.

Professional Podcasts - Medicine
Dermatology Weekly
DW is a news and perspectives show with two blocks, an A block, and a B block. The A block of the show is for news and the B block is for a peer-to-peer clinical conversation. Typically, the A block was simply audio versions of our Dermatology News coverage written and voiced by me. However, the editorical group wanted to explore better news production. This was our first attempt. While it was deemed a massive success, I was not able to continue this style due to time contstraints from the other podcasts.

Postcall
Postcall was an interview-based show aimed at providing an after-hours conversation space for physicians. In this episode, a genercal surgery resident joined me and my co-host, Emi Okamoto, MD, to talk about the closure of a massive and historical hospitcal in Philadelphia. Dr. Daniels had rivoting and heartbreaking stories and analysis.
Daily Medical News
This was the first podcast launched by MDedge and how I was asked to come on full-time. The Daily consisted of four audio versions of our print stories published at 4:00 AM on Weekdays.
Note: The Daily was shuttered. This was not due to a lack of audience. It was due to a lack of monetization strategy from Medscape Management. In Truth, MDedge was ahead of the recent daily podcast trend and it's shuttering was quite unwise.
